Congratulations to Nancy Thomas, our 7th grade English Language Arts teacher, on being named April’s Stronger Together Award recipient!

Mrs. Thomas does an exceptional job preparing our AMS students for the paths they will take beyond the classroom. She is a dedicated and highly skilled educator who builds strong, positive relationships while helping students develop essential ELA skills and confidence in their future. Her mission is clear—to inspire every student to be their very best, both academically and personally.

She creates a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment by truly getting to know each of her students. Through meaningful conversations and genuine care, students feel comfortable being themselves and know they are valued. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Thomas extends her impact through the Caring Closet Project, ensuring students have access to snacks, school supplies, and hygiene products to support their success.

With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Thomas has shown unwavering dedication to the School District of Arcadia. She is a strong advocate for students and a valued member of our school community, consistently demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and commitment in all she does.
