Each month all staff members have the opportunity to nominate their peers for the School District of Arcadia Stronger Together Award. The purpose of the Stronger Together Award is to recognize employees who serve our district in an exceptional manner by collaborating with staff, inspiring students and engaging families.   

Congratulations to Kalli Boland, our Elementary School Psychologist and May’s Stronger Together Recipient!

Kalli takes great pride in supporting both teachers and students in identifying the most effective academic pathways for success. She listens carefully to teacher concerns and works diligently to develop appropriate plans for student assessment and achievement. Kalli ensures that every student has access to the support they need—academically, emotionally, and physically—and consistently strives to connect students with the resources and accommodations necessary for success.

Each day, Kalli brings a positive, upbeat attitude and takes time to build meaningful relationships with every student and staff member she encounters. Her extensive knowledge of supporting diverse learners allows her to create individualized plans that meet the unique needs of each student. Her calm and compassionate demeanor helps students feel safe, supported, and at ease.

Kalli is highly organized and manages a significant workload, including the ongoing demands of evaluations and documentation, with efficiency and consistency. Despite the volume of her responsibilities, she remains detail-oriented, timely, and thorough in all aspects of her work. She also creates clear, visually engaging presentations to help staff and families better understand assessment results.

As a school psychologist, Kalli plays a vital role in overseeing initial evaluations and addressing concerns related to student achievement. She collaborates seamlessly with teachers, families, and staff across the district, always making herself available to answer questions and provide guidance. If she does not have an immediate answer, she takes the initiative to find one.

Kalli is a foundational pillar of our special education department and our school as a whole. Her professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaboration make her an invaluable asset to our team. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and the impact she makes each day.
