Congratulations to Jacey Wozney, High School English Language Learner Teacher and recipient of the May Stronger Together Award.
Each month all staff members have the opportunity to nominate their peers for the School District of Arcadia Stronger Together Award. The purpose of the Stronger Together Award is to recognize employees who serve our district in an exceptional manner by collaborating with staff, inspiring students and engaging families. Congratulations to Jacey Wozney, High School English Language Learner Teacher and recipient of the May Stronger Together Award.
 
Jacey started in the Arcadia Middle School as a paraprofessional in the EL department and transitioned to the high school classroom for the 22-23 school year. She has been instrumental in working with our newest ELL students. She helps break through the language barriers and guides students through post-high school opportunities. Jacey meets students where they are at ensures their success by working with them every step of the way. She values relationships with her students and their families.
 
Jacey is an advocate for her students and continually finds creative ways to help each one. Whether it is related to school or personal life students know she can be counted on to support them. As a co-worker, she takes pride in collaborating and doing what it takes to ensure all students experience success! Kathryn Schaefer, Director of Pupil Services stated, “Jacey has done a wonderful job of stepping into the EL teacher role this school year. She is a strong advocate for her students and a tremendous asset to our district as a bilingual teacher.” The School District of Arcadia is grateful for Jacey and thank her for her dedication to the Arcadia community.
